Things I have learnt

I remember it all too clearly....The newsletters, the meetings, the excitement, the disappointment, the hurt...and then lessons learnt. We were selected as editors for the newsletter. And as the days progressed I realized that someone was trying to cut me out of my position. I realized that someone accidentally forgot to call me when the printer came for the meeting, or forgot to tell me about the small changes that took place in the newsletter. I was slowly begining to doubt my own ability to work on the newsletter. Gloom and sadness had set in where pride should have. Just then.....my angel appeared.
Someone was trying to cut me out but wasn't able to succeed. When the memory forgot, someone elses mind and heart didnt allow it. Soon meetings took place with me, changes in the newsletter were made by me.
We made it through the year...we won the race. She taught me all about team work. She could have hogged the limelight as far as the newsletter was concerned. But she didn't. She chose to work as a team. She chose to let me live my dream.
How that she is standing as an editor I know she will make a great editor because she can lead the newspaper to work as a team. Thank you for helping me with my dreams..I hope I get yours...You know who you are....
